Located in the busy locality of Indiranagar is this North Indian restaurant 'Raaga'. Whether for family dinners or office outings, this place promises a memorable gastronomic experience.

The dishes are served in style. The ambience of the restaurant is warm and cosy, which makes one feel welcome. The highlight of this place is the decor — minimalistic, yet with a royal touch. The lights and the furniture add to the luxurious atmosphere of the restaurant. This place is great for one of those days when one craves for 'North Indian' food.

Known for their delectable buffet, this place also offers an à la carte menu which has a variety of options for both meat lovers and vegetarians. To get started, ask for a 'Hawaii punch or a 'yellow jacket'. As fancy as it sounds, these mocktails are refreshing
and have a hint of a unique flavour. The 'Hawaii punch' is a combination of orange and mango juice, mixed with 'khus'. The latter is a blend of pineapple, orange and lime juice.

While you sip on your drinks, turn to the starters section and look for the non-vegetarian platter. If you want to start your meal on a light note then go for 'murg Rajasthani' and a plate of 'achari paneer tikka'. You could also try the 'masaledar murg kabab' and the 'chatpate gobhi', which are also some of their fast moving items. The piping hot 'kebabs' are mouthwatering and have a fine balance of aroma and spices.

The starter can be pretty filling, so make sure not to fill yourself up with it as you wouldn't want to miss out on the extensive main course section. If you are 'biryani' person 'gosht biryani' is just the right dish to order. However, for more elaborate mains, you can ask for their popular 'murg hawa mahal' or 'murg kali Mirch' with either 'naan' or rice. For the vegetarians, 'Paneer patiala' and 'achari veg kadai' is an ideal choice.

Even if you are full to the brim, make sure you save some room for dessert. Treat your sweet tooth with their classic 'Raaga kulfi' or the 'sizzling brownie'. This is one of those few restaurants that serves 'Fried ice cream', so choosing that over everything else is highly recommended.

Apart from the elaborate and refined North Indian menu, this place also offers Chinese and Continental cuisines. So if you don't want to stick to the classics, go exotic with your choices. 'Raaga' is located at 3, near HDFC Bank, CMH Road, Indiranagar. For details, call 9341217011.
