How about some lip-smacking pasta and pizzas in a cosy ambience? Look no further, as 'Cafe HolyBelly' in Kasturi Nagar is the place to be.

Owned by Nandita Das, this cafe, which can easily seat around 30 people, can easily be the relaxed Bengalurean's favourite haunt. The interesting menu apart, the option for playing board games is another attraction of the cafe.

"We have tried to offer the best of Continental food at reasonable prices," says Nandita.

Prompt with its service, the cafe tries to assure that everything on one's plate is as fresh as it can get. "We prepare our items on the basis of the orders, which means we do not cut and keep vegetables ready for the sandwiches or any of the dishes.

The freshness of the food is retained because of this," adds Nandita. The 'HolyBelly Special Lasagne' is a favourite among many while the cafe also has its own version of lasagne with white sauce. "In pizzas, while there are a few options in chicken, the 'Cottage cheese' variant is a top choice among vegetarians," she says.

The 'Arabiatta' and 'Alfredo' options are a hit among pasta lovers.

Sandwiches for vegetarians include the 'Cheese grilled sandwich' while for non-vegetarians the 'BBQ chicken sandwich' is a good option. "Our prices make the space a go-to-place for the youngsters. We also see young couples and families, in the evenings," she says.

The all-day 'English Breakfast' option is popular too. While the non-vegetarian platter includes chicken sausages, herbed mash, baked beans and eggs to order served with two slices of toast and butter and jam, the vegetarian option has veg patty and sauteed mushrooms as the replacements. For those who would like to wash down their order, go for kiwi, strawberry, mango and banana smoothies. The mocktails include 'Pinacolada', 'Strawberry colada' and 'Sunset trip'.

'Cafe HolyBelly' is located at no 202, Ground floor, 2nd Main Road, East of NGEF, Kasturi Nagar.
