Actor Bhavana Rao cannot be more excited. She is positive that her upcoming film 'Dayavittu Gamanisi' will impress the audience and is hopeful that her role will help create a mark in the industry.

In a candid chat with Tini Sara Anien, the young actor talks about her upcoming movies.

What do you find exciting about acting?
I was a classical dancer and later I stepped into modelling. I've been on stage since I can remember and I later on discovered that I was very comfortable in front of the camera. It's exciting to play different characters everyday. Getting out of one's comfort zone and trying new things is what we do and I love this.

Tell us about your role in 'Dayavittu Gamanisi'.
I play Raghu Mukherhjee's wife in the movie. I'm sure that every housewife would be able to connect to my role. I play a frustrated person, who has a lot of expectations of life after marriage and I portray a myriad of emotions when my character doesn't get what she hoped for.

Your chemistry with Raghu Mukherjee?
He's one of the sweetest people I have ever met. He takes some time to open up but he is a very chilled-out person. It was a lot of fun working with him.

What was challenging about the role?
I am a very calm person but my character was of a very impatient person. My character fights with people but I do not fight or quarrel with anyone in real life. In the movie, I also had to use some profane words which is so not me!

Highlights of the film...
What pulled me to the film is the script itself and that is the strong point of the film. The film has four stories. The way Rohit Padaki has treated the movie, Anoop Seelin has worked with the music and Aravind has played with the camera will definitely fetch the film good attention.

According to you, what makes a good film?
I strongly believe that it is the writing which can make or break a film. We are all humans and the story needs to connect with the audience. This is where I strongly believe that 'Dayavittu Gamanisi' stands a chance.

A genre that you want to explore.
There are so many! I want to work on sports-based films, mythological scripts and a film which is based on dance.

A remake you would want to be a part of?
'Mary Kom', 'Dangal' or 'ABCD'.

What other movies will we see you in?
There are two other projects which are awaiting release. I will be seen opposite Sathish Ninasam in 'Tiger Galli' and in 'Satya Harishchandra' with Sharan.

How excited are you about your back-to-back releases?
I am a bundle of nerves. I've essayed entirely different roles in all the three projects and there is no comparison between them. I hope people love me in all of them and appreciate my acting skills.

You've been shuttling between sets. How do you relax?
I enjoy my work. I feel lost when I am not working. I can be off the set only for a day or two; anything more and I get irritated.

How important is music to you?
I love all kinds of music, be it a soothing track or a dance number. It just has to be something which is pleasing to the ear.

The last song you heard...
Wherever you go now, you only hear 'Shape of You'. That was the last song I heard.
