Pooja Gajraj is a fashionista by all means. She makes sure that she is up to date about all the fashion trends, writes about it and even works as a fashion consultant. To top it off, she has also worked for the 'Deccan Herald Metrolife Fashion Show' Season 7.
"This year, the themes were unique and the students did a fantastic job representing it," says Pooja.
Apart from freelancing as a stylist and fashion columnist, Pooja also works as a fashion consultant. She says, "I coach people to become fashion consultants. It's great that I can pass on my knowledge to other interesting folks and learn more from them as well. At the end of the day, I'm helping someone else get a job and that's a great feeling."
Before entered the fashion world, the B.Sc graduate in fashion and apparel design interned with Narendra Kumar in Mumbai.
"I completed my post graduation in fashion styling in Milan before I interned with him, but I wanted to come back to Bengaluru. I just kept an open mind and did everything I needed to build my portfolio. Somehow I got more than I expected," she shares.
A few years down the line, she hopes to add more feathers to her cap.
"There could be a YouTube channel or maybe even a book; you never know!" she exclaims.
