It was a delightful gathering at Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield on Thursday evening of many expatriates and their friends who came in for a Thanksgiving dinner. The 'M Cafe' catered to the festive needs with a do-it-yourself meal and eat out decadence.
While some chose to enjoy the live music and the buffet outdoors, others preferred the intimate restaurant and a cosy dinner. The guests were welcomed with a message on the napkin wishing them a 'Happy Thanksgiving' and a drink of their choice. The evening saw friends as well as families gather.
Catering to both a la carte and buffet options, the menu offered a mouth-watering spread with roast or whole turkey, honey glazed ham, classic pumpkin pie, apple pie, pecan pie, cranberry sauce and much more.
It also included other exciting dishes like Pork Mortadella, Smoked duck with pear compote, Prawn and pomelo salad and an antipasti station. They also had a Chinese section with momos, noodles, fried rice and live counter of ingredients for the guests to choose from.
Each dish was delicious on its own. With perfectly cooked meat and veggies, the each flavour was distinctive. When the adults were busy tucking in the delicious food, the children were occupied with the games in the gaming arena. With balloons of different shapes, games and other activities, they were having great fun. The children enjoyed the evening as they also delighted in a wholesome meal once tired.
